Title: Profit from a Mini-Info Site, Step-By-Step

=========================
Google AdSense Success
=========================
You do have a Google AdSense account, right? If not, you
NEED to get one.

Trust me, get one. They are great to put on any content page
where you aren't actually selling anything.
You first apply for the account, and Google manually checks
the website you submit to them for review and then approves
or rejects your request for an account. It can take 3
days to a week. You need to submit a website with a number
of good content pages. Do NOT submit 1 page sales sites in
your a.plication. If you get rejected, change your site that
was used to apply with an try again.

OK -- Now that you've gotten one, you should know how Google
places the ads in them. To hear it right from Google, go
to the following link. It is a presentation for Googlers,
by Google.

=========================
Overture Bid Tool
=========================
Now I just recently found a link to the Overture Bid Tool,
which shows you how much people are bidding on whatever
keyword you search for. I thought you had to be a member
of Overture to get access to this, but I guess not.

Why do I bring this up? What you can do with this is use it
as a niche finder. For example, searching for "scrapbooking"
shows that the top 3 bids are $1.26, $1.25 and $0.75. Now,
would these people be bidding over a dollar per click if
they didn't get any return? It's safe to say no they
wouldn't, and they are getting a return. Of course there
will always be a few newbies wasting their advertising
budget in the wrong place, but generally the people bidding
will know what they are doing.

So if you find a topic with high bids, go to Google and
search for that topic to see what turns out. If it is
inundated with sales pages, you might want to move on as the
niche would be saturated. Otherwise, note it down and
seriously consider targeting it with a product they will
buy.

Remember, if no one is bidding on a niche, it usually means
that the niche isn't profitable. Move on.

=========================
Putting it All Together
=========================
Using the two tools above, you could put together mini-
information sites if you don't have a product for the
niche.

The front page could be specifically made to rank high in
the search engines, display a Google AdSense ad there, and
offer a few suggestions for resources.

Have a page for books using your Amazon Associates code
(WHAT? You don't have an associates account with Amazon?!
They are only one of the best sources for backend products
out there! They have everything and people trust them, c'mon
man!) Put a AdSense ad here too.

To sign up for an Amazon Associates account:
http://associates.amazon.com

Have another section for web links and another resources.
AdSense goes here as well! This section would be best
filled with SearchFeed results. SearchFeed is much like
AdSense in that you get paid for c.icks, but their
results look a lot like SERPS (Search Engine Results
Pages) and not ads.

Click here to sign up for SearchFeed.

Find some related articles via some article banks (go to
Google and search for that, or try searching for ""whatever-
your-niche-is" articles") and post those (with AdSense ads
on them of course) as content on separate pages.

Don't overload people with ads on the front page, they will
just leave, one AdSense ad will do it.

Get a few links pointing to your new mini-information
site so the search engines will eventually find it (All I
do is link to it from a few of my other websites), and
people will start clicking on your links generating
revenue.

Do this over and over with different keywords and you will
build yourself a nice automatic revenue stream.

Don't make the deadly mistake of forgetting to offer a free
report or ebook in exchange for their email address. This
way you will keep a list of potential customers to promote
affiliate products (email in the form of a newsletter, not
SPAM mind you), or even a product you will eventually
create yourself.

In Conclusion
=========================
So I hope you enjoyed today's newsletter, next issue I'm
going to give some some specifics for search engine
optimization.

Take care!
